    Carl Rogers

My Approach

Existential-Humanistic Therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in the existential-humanistic and person-centred traditions. This means that I help clients with what they bring to therapy by exploring with them their own unique perspectives, feelings, values and ways of making sense of the world.

I offer clients a confidential, non-judgmental, empathetic, safe space in which to explore their challenges. While my training and work is grounded in humanistic approaches, it is flexible and tailored to each individual client. My work integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Psychodynamic models, as different people find different things helpful in therapy.

I believe that greater self compassion and change begins with the process of learning more about ourselves.

  • “We become free by transforming ourselves from unaware victims of the past into responsible individuals in the present, who are aware of our past and thus are able to live with it.”

    Alice Miller
